The Presence Sensor Tree (100422, 100423) has replaced the Motion Sensor Tree (100223, 100224).
The Presence Sensor Air (100420, 100421) replaces the Motion Sensor Air (100190, 100192).
Multisensor technology: built-in infrared, acoustic and light sensor
A simple motion sensor does not detect if, for example, someone is just sitting at a table or in front of the TV without much activity. Various installation factors can also affect the effectiveness of a motion sensor, for example if it is obscured when a door is open. This is why the Presence Sensor was created - to make presence detection more accurate in every usage environment, whether in residential or public buildings. The Presence Sensor can reduce device costs in unusual usage environments where several simple motion sensors would be needed.

A versatile acoustic sensor
With the built-in acoustic sensor, the Presence Sensor offers an even wider range of possible applications. (For the Air version only with fixed power supply.)

How does acoustic detection work?
The Presence Sensor contains an acoustic sensor that detects noise and measures volume, then transmits this value to the Miniserver.
Presence detection in the AAL area
Especially when elderly or disabled people live alone, it is important that relatives or guardians know that everything is fine with them. This can be achieved, among other things, through presence detection, which is a form of unobtrusive monitoring. It can trigger an alert, for example, when a fall is detected, a change in normal behavior, or other similar emergencies.
Installation and configuration
With the fiber-reinforced mounting bracket, the Presence Sensor can be easily and securely installed on either the ceiling or wall, and Loxone Tree technology enables extremely simple installation and commissioning with the help of Loxone Config.
Tree
The award-winning Tree technology is a completely free form of wiring topologies that allows you to build your cabling according to your installed system. Only a 4-core communication cable is needed to establish communication between Tree devices and conduct electricity. This minimizes wiring time and costs, as it can reduce the amount of cable needed by up to 80% compared to other similar automation systems.
Air
The Presence Sensor Air connects wirelessly to the Loxone Air radio system. Thanks to energy-efficient Air technology, the Presence Sensor Air has a lifespan of approximately 2 years and can be powered by 24 VDC or operated with batteries.
